My dream started out at church and I guess we had an event because the amazing singer AURORA came to perform for us. So I was really excited but I noticed that the people that bought her here weren’t letting AURORA be herself. She was singing weirdly like she wasn’t used to this type of singing, and she sounded sad and exhausted. Then I noticed that everybody in the audience was getting up to leave, checking the time to see that it was about 11:56pm, so almost midnight. So as we all got up to go home, all of a sudden these people with armor and chain saws came into the now forested area (the church disappeared) and started destroying the whole place. It made me upset so I went to find a bomb rock (from Pikmin) for myself until I heard one of them say “I’m sure no one would care if I did this.” I looked up and saw a bomb being thrown at a group of elephants trying to get away and it blew up. I cried while looking at the destroyed forest then out of frustration I grabbed a bomb rock and threw it at the people who destroyed it all. Unfortunately it didn’t blow up there cause they picked it up and threw it back at me (horrible aim btw, they missed me entirely.) I ran up the street where everybody else was and since I attempted to blow them up they targeted me, luckily I go to aikido so I got away multiple times. I Ran to a bunch of parked cars and hid behind recycling cans, then I started searching for my family. Couldn’t find my sister, Kayla, or Mom but I did find Dad. He looked sad and that was where the dream ended So basically I’m convinced that people are horrible beings. And I’ve been having bad dreams this whole week ;-;
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences, intertwining them into vivid narratives that can evoke strong emotions. In your dream, several key elements stand out that can provide insight into its meaning:
Setting & Gathering: Starting in a church with an event suggests a place of community, worship, or solace. It could represent your search for connection or support, particularly in difficult times. The fact that someone you admire, AURORA, is performing here indicates that you may appreciate authenticity and creativity—something you may feel is lacking in other areas of your life.
AURORA's Performance: Seeing AURORA struggle to sing authentically may symbolize feelings of discontentment, possibly reflecting someone or something in your life not being true to themselves or their potential. It could also represent your own feelings of being constrained or pressured to conform by societal expectations or external influences.
The Audience Leaving: The audience checking their time and leaving just before midnight symbolizes a feeling of urgency, transition, or even abandonment. This departure may represent your feelings of disconnection from those around you or from a shared experience. It could also symbolize a fear of missing out or a betrayal of trust.
Destruction of the Forest: The transformation from the church to a forest that's being destroyed conveys a deep sense of chaos and disruption. The armored figures with chainsaws may represent aggressive forces in your life that are tearing down your peace, stability, or comfort. This part of the dream signifies a fear of losing something valuable or seeing the innocent harmed.
Emotional Response: Crying at the destruction highlights your empathy and sensitivity, suggesting that you might be grappling with feelings of helplessness or frustration over external events (both personal and global). Your desire to take action by finding a bomb rock indicates your yearning to fight against injustices or restore balance in your life.
Desire to Protect: The search for your family encapsulates a common theme of wanting to protect loved ones, signifying concern for their wellbeing amid chaos. Finding your dad looking sad might reflect anxiety about familial relationships or a fear that your loved ones are impacted by the turmoil you’re witnessing.
Overall Theme: Experiencing a week filled with bad dreams suggests that your subconscious is processing feelings of distress or disappointment in the world or in specific relationships. It reflects a sense of frustration with human behavior and the chaos around you.
Thus, this dream may reveal deep-seated feelings about authenticity, connection, and the destruction you perceive in your environment or relationships. It’s a call to navigate those feelings, seek clarity and healing, and perhaps find ways to express your frustrations positively. Consider journaling your thoughts, talking to a trusted friend, or engaging in creative outlets to channel these emotions constructively.
